Best 2.1 speaker system?

After the 5.1 system thread (winner klipsch,then logitech z680),im wondering whats the best 2.1,or the 2 speaker computer system.
Your thoughts? |

There is not really a point in going with a 2.1 system anymore. Surround sound has become affordable for almost everyone, unless you are piss poor and can't afford $60. My friend and his brother both picked up a set of Creative Inspire 5.1 speakers this weekend for $60 at a computer show.
I've seen the Logitech 5.1 system advertised for $69 new in stores also. The surround sound revolution is here and I'm quite enjoying it. |

I got the creative inspire 2.1 slim 2700
It's good for music purposes.
I don't need a 5.1. |

My friend said the same until he got it. Now he's claiming it's one of his best upgrades yet and didn't realize exactly how much he was missing out on. |

its great trust me
it gets really high ive heard it in helf volume in this big store with alot of noise in a mall and it really rocked the place!
great quility too and the subwoofer is 100% quility wood what means the best sound quility!
go and get it!
damn i feel like a sellesmen for some crappy store:p |

| in my personal opinion, all 'computer speakers' are overpriced and really not that good. if you want a good soundsystem for your computer, just buy a decent amp and hook it up. that way you have a much broader selection of speakers, and generally get alot more quality for the same amount of money. |

The altec lansing ATP3 has a max Power Output of 6 Watt (RMS).
I dont know how that could possibly rock the place :p |

first of all it is at easts 35 RMS
and second its really storng i was suprised myself (and so does my neighbors :-)
its really good if you dont beilive me then go to a store and you can see the big diffrence between that and other (including the creative system that sucked) |

What if u dont want to have speakers everywhere?
What if u dont want to have CABLES everywhere?
What if u dont want to have ppl dropping your speakers to the floor because they stepped over the rear-right cable(f.e.)?
What if u dont want to spend that money when with the same u can get a decent 2.1 speaker system?
What if u dont want your speakers to take away the needed space in your room?
Yeah i know,5.1 is cool,i used to own a system,but as u see more is not necessarily better for some ppl.
Think before u post.(i should be telling this to myself sometimes,but plz do.) |
