Impossible ID, No Sample

I heard a hardcore-like song I am trying to ID. Its your typical hard driving bass line, but the one very distinctive thing about the song is all of a sudden the music goes quiet and there is a lone trumpet playing a melody and then the bass starts in again. I can't decide if its Egyptain sounding or Spanish trumpet sounding. The only additional info I have is I heard it at the Sound Factory in NYC on 8/10 at 10 in the morning, Jonathan Peters was spinning and he played it twice.
I know... its impossible to ID, but thought I would try anyway. Thanks for reading. |

only song i can think of with a trumpet in it is
careless whisper by the sax brothers
but everyones heard that and it says in it, "careless whisper" which u didnt mention but anyway dont say i didnt try 2 help:D |

By hardcore-like I mean there is a continuous, driving, steady bass. But all of a sudden all the music stops and there is this trumpet melody... kind of sounds Egyptian like, then the bass starts up again.

your track is probably the makina anthem Dj promo - Up Yours, often played several times in hardcore parties, and with a trumpet.
This track gave me a headache, good night. |
