That's right..he isn't coming back.
He was kinda disappointd about some people at this forum..maybe you know who they are..maybe they know who they are..and he decided it is for the best that he doesn't come back...
I tried to tell him that we really appreciate him here, but he won't listen. We have contact through ICQ and I'm glad I don't have to miss him all the way..still some chat every now and then...if any of you'd like to PM him on ICQ...first PM me, and then I'll ask him if I can reveal the ICQ nr.
And..Blik..I thinkit's a good idea to vote for a moderator..IF..Swampz agrees...:) |

How would we go about doing that? Vote on post count, popularity? lol...that'd be rather hard! |

Maybe..intelligence...knowledge about Trance...Sanity....haha...this all counts me out :p |

Defo not on the post count ! !
we have ppl in here that have posted like over 1100 in a month
98% of those posts being flames or just LOLing at another post
A high post count these days can not be any sort of indicator of someone's knowledge of our music or intelligence in general.
Anyone can make 100 posts a day without saying anything of use at all.
PS. there are now several threads in the site suggestions forum on this paticular subject, the state of chill out, moderators etc

Post count should not count at all when it comes to moderating.. I don't think knowledge should be the only factor either. A mod should be a person that spend a lot of time on this site, cuz a mods work is to watch over the forum and see that it goes in the right direction..

| I really don't think we need an extra moderator. It's actually quite simple. When you see a thread started by one of them, just don't reply. It's so effortless and easy to do. If he doesn't get bored of talking to his aliases then maybe we have a problem but we won't find out if we keep bumping his threads to the top. |
