I'm trying to compile a list, eventually to become a mix CD, of the saddest songs I or anyone else can find. I'm not just looking for songs, I'm talkin songs that make you wanna break down in tears
So far I have:
Billy Joel - Goodnight to Saigon
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms
Brand New - Soco Amaretto Lime (one of the weaker ones here)
David Gray - My Oh My
Linkin Park - MY[DSMBR (more of a memory thing than anything, so you don't have to agree on this one :p )
Massive Attack - Teardrop (not quite as sad, but like the most emotional song i know, i got a soft spot for it)
New Radicals - Cryin Like a Church on Monday
Nine Inch Nails - Leaving Hope (this one's amazing)
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Porno For Pyros - Pets
Rusted Root - Beautiful People
Third Eye Blind - Slow Motion
anyone got any others to add the list? |

Well, these might only apply when you are heartbroken or something along those lines, but they affect me for sure. Again, everyone feels different things to different songs due to memories, but here are some
Chris Issak - Wicked Games
Coldplay - Trouble (or as stated above, almost anything by them)
Bob Marley - Waiting in Vain or Turn Your lights down low (Love Bob, upbeat yet emotional, :)
David Gray - Sail Away
Nirvana - Unplugged Album, its all pretty sad
and in terms of trance, here's one most people haven't heard.
Dido - Here With Me (Parks & Wilson Homeyard Dub). Pretty sad sounding if you ask me :) :( |
