How can we make Toronto clubs better?

Okay, we listed our gripes a few weeks back, now let's try to put a positive spin on it and suggest ways to fix things.

TO THE MANAGEMENT OF VIVA: The big TVs at the front. I have decided that watching the DJ is boring. The only thing ever played on those screens that enhanced my experience was the anime reel, which was only played for 15 mins @ Matt Hardwick. Can you PLEASE put on more anime. It was cool.

will think of more later
bucky
lol... I enjoyed watching some guy roll a joint behind the decks on those TV's at 00 Flemming/Orkidea.

My only suggestion... CHEAPER DRINKS, but that's cuz i'm a big drunk. Otherwise, the clubs are always great around toronto!

Well, cheaper drinks would be nice. but on the other hadn I liek the palce best out of all clubs (altho far away... well. Not really anymore) cause I get treated with respect and..... I GOT ROOM TO DANCE!!!! That is the most important factor. Only Club I wish they would change stuff is Guv aka Sardinemadness (just my non-prejudice opinion!!!! no flaming necessary) like better crowd control and at least some room to dance. That's all. SystemS.. Leave that club the way it is man!!!!!

Ari, why don't you talk to Biggy about content? Usually at Aria they show some wicked stuff on their "TVs".

What do you have on there? A DVD player or VCR?
Elmo-On-XTC
Just show Baraka
it was a silent film showing tribal chants and scenery and such...the cinematography is beyond anything else I've ever seen

I have it on laserdisc if you got one of those at viva
but there definetely is a dvd and vhs version ;)

If you were at the Max Graham event @ System back in July, you would have seen the visuals that were going on. He has a solid anime visual collection..

However the company is in Montreal.

I am 100% sure Viva has a DVD player

The Tomato Art jam on the Underworld - Everything, Everything DVD is one hour of visual goodness.

As for an anime reel... maybe I'll splice together some Neon Genesis Evangelion eps to see how it looks, and if it works out, I will nab all kinds of anime and make a few discs

whats some good video editing software
