Worlds largest party?

The question is pretty simple, which has yet so far been the absolutely largets party? Indoor and outdoor (expect all parades such as Loveparade, Streetparade etc.) With largets I mean highest number of visitors...
My larges indoor and outdoor parties would definitely be this years Sensation and Dance Valley...

if im not mistaken the world's largest parties are:
*Carnaval - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
*Mardi Gras - New Orleans, Louisiana USA
*Oktoberfest - Munich, Germany
*Love Parade - Berlin, Germany
that being said, the largest electronica party ive ever attended was at Avex Summer Rave... i think about 10,000 ppl attended. cant be too sure about the #... :-/

some1 told me that 2,000,000 ppl was in the love parade in berlin...
i dont remember the year though..
it seems too much pll in 1 place.. so i doubt that

I'm not quite sure but the Love Parade may be larger than Brazilian carnival. Unless you consider that carnival is celebrated at the same time in several cities (mostly Rio, Olinda and Salvador), so it can easily be considered the world's greatest party (even though the music played in these cities are very different - it's not all about samba :toothless).
The only thing I'm sure is that the Love Parade in 2000 had more people than Woodstock ever had. |

Love Parade '98 (or was it '99?) had around 1.3 miljon people depending on what source you use. Easily beating the record for Street Parade in Zurich. However, as someone mentioned, events such as Carnaval - Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) are still considered the largest out door event in the world. |
