So what did you guys think about that necklace at the end of the movie ? She herself left it for him ? |
Sorry, I wasn't able to pay enough attention to the movie to notice this detail...I was too busy cutting up on the movie with my friends.
See the only reason why I even saw this movie was because I was with a bunch of friends who couldn't get into a rated R movie (Old School). So they bought tickets to DD and I was going to sneak them into Old School...but the plan was foiled by the people who worked there and I wound up sneaking into DD.
Kinda funny that they had people checking ticket stubs inside the theater for Old School, but not @ DD. |

Yeah well, you never saw her again in the movie so she might as well have died. :p |
Actually you do see her again, she's in the part with the necklace. Look over Ben's shoulder when he is looking at the necklace, and she's standing ontop of another building watching him, then runs off. |

| im looking forward to Blade 3 and thats about it. I really wish a movie was made on the basis of Alan Ford comics but finding actors that would fit the roles of those classic characters would be impossible and i dont belive theres a director alive that could really transfer the feeling of the comic to the screen s ill just shut up now :p |

Hmm.. Alan Ford.. isn't that the Italian comic series about a group fighting against crime? Or am i totally lost here? It's been too long since i've read any Alan Ford comics. |

Thanks for the info. Great thread. I'm a huge comic-movie junkie, so this was refreshing for me today. Here's a few thoughts:
1. Ghostrider - I was a huge fan and comic collector of this comic, so I'm extremely excited for this. And I actually think Nick Cage will work well as Johnny Blaze. He's a gifted actor - at least he's not going to play the next Superman!
2. Spiderman 2 - I personally thought Toby M. was perfect for the role of Peter Parker. Geeky, quite, yet whitty and confident when necessary. Doc Oc will be a great villain. Again, one of my facorite comic books coming to real life.
3. X-Men 3 - The second movie was better than the first. I look forward to seeing this one making its attempts to trump them both.
4. Doctor Strange - Another one of my favorite comic books. Not well-known, but could definitely be a sleeper hit.
5. Fantastic 4 - This could potentially rival X-Men in terms of popularity with team heroes. Flame on!
6. Silver Surfer - A great cosmic character. Seeing Galactus on screen with full effects would be a trip!
7. Daredevil 2 - Let's get one thing straight: there's only 2 Ben Affleck movies worth seeing: Chasing Amy and Good Will Hunting. The rest suck donkey balls, and the first DD movie was the worst by far. It disgusted me to see Hollywood sell their souls to getting this God-aweful sellout. The movie may have pulled some dough in, but it didn't pull the wool over the critics' collective eyes, who thoroughly ripped this movie a new . And not only did Ben Affleck rip one of my favorite characters apart, but the shameless T&A act of Alias' star play Electra was painful to watch as well. And by the way, isin't Kingpin supposed to be white? Don't think I'm being racist, I'm just pointing out one of so many discrepancies with this ridiculous movie. So needless to say, I'm not looking forward to it's sequel.
That's all for now. |

Lee Tamahori: Deathlok
- A suburban family man is unwittingly made a test subject for technology research that slowly turns him into a living computerized assasin for the government.
*Director not yet known*: Silver Surfer
- Norrin Radd was once a scientist on the planet of Zenn-La.
- He lost all that as well as his human form when he pledged himself as the herald of the all-powerful Galactus, a being who threatened to annihilate his homeworld and must consume planets to sustain himself.
- Changed by Galactus and imbused with cosmic energy, Norrin Radd's body was transformed into a metallic scout capable of flying across the cosmos - the Silver Surfer.
- The Surfer betrays his master, however, when he falls in love with one of the doomed planets; a planet known as Earth. | AWSOME! :eyes:  |

I'm really only interested in Xmen 3 and Blade 3... not a daredevil fan and I hate Tobey Maguire as Spiderman... but if Kirsten Dunst is in it, I'll watch. Actually I'll prolly still see Spiderman 2 because of Doc Ock... but Spiderman 3 looks vicious... LOVE Venom and Carnage!! I can really see Christian Bale as Carnage, not so much Vin Diesel or the Rock as Venom, you need that crazy/psycho smile look to pull off Venom hahaha.
Oh yeah... NICOLAS CAGE IS GHOST RIDER?!?!?! Come on... |
