he's not my favorite, but without him trance would not be what it is today....especially in the usa. he has constantly toured america and paved the way for every other european dj to come here. you may not like what he does now but to say he sucks is ridiculous:whip: :whip: :whip: |

Ive heard it a couple of times and its way better then JXLs nutty remix,
the Oakenfold remix has really much original Elvis-vibe and that
really makes the track listenable. |

It's OK for a pop song. But I don't like it.
And for that stupid American, Oakenfold isn't the only reason why trance is popular today. i.e. trance where it is today does not = Paul Oakenfold |

since you know so much about the american trance scene, who has had a bigger effect for than oakenfold in the states? who has sold more cd's here, introduced more people to the music than him? nowhere did i say that trance = oakenfold...in fact, i said that i don't even like him that much.. before you answer with some comment, read what i said. not all americans are ignorant in this scene:mad: |

| To me JXL just sucks, and the only reason why JXl remix was so good, its because its a elvis track, and since elvis is dead, he revived him a bit, and thats why he sold million's of singles. |

Well, I didn't say trance = oakenfold. I said trance as it is today. Oakenfold has no influence on the trance world nowadays imo. And its not like he plays 100% trance, hes resorted to playing remixes of pop. Nevermind, the good Oakie might come back one day. But I doubt it :(
