Started off my night at SYSTEM SOUND BAR in the VIP room. Oakenfold & his crew was present and the room was off limits to the public. I was standing around and saw RyanPark chillin’and getting ready to start work! I was standing near the DJ booth and Oakenfold looked at me and said “hi! “ Shook his hand and soon after he greeted the rest of the DeepGroove crew. The club was pretty busy and it was only 11:15pm.and I was loaded with a lot of drinks by now. (Thanks to the Heineken crew) Saw Oakenfold next the bar and went up to him and chatted for awhile. “Paul, how does it feel to be the world’s BIGGEST DJ ?” I asked him. Oakenfold said “It feels GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!” DeepGroove and I got a picture of us chillin’ with Oakenfold and I will post it up tomorrow. Left System to hit Theory at the Kool Haus.
Due to circumstances beyond Theory’s control, the UK headliners couldn’t land in Toronto today. The only headliner present tonight, was Soul Providaz. All flights were cancelled! BIG UP THEORY continuing the show and making it a FREE PARTY! Lots of GIRLZ … correction, INSANE AMOUNT OF HOT GIRLZ inside the venue! VIBE was great and ppl were having nuff fun! Energy level was ok, but it wasn’t as rowdy as normal Jungle party.
BIG UP Desidel, Diginutz, Highroller and the rest of the TA Junglist that came out!
Funny note: I got one of my female junglist to flash her ass (without any thongz on) for me and Diginut, but Diginut didn’t even see it. I pointed it out to him and made sure she was right in front. Too bad for you Aaron, I ain’t gonna ask again FOO!
Came back to System and Vagrant was packing the VIP room, BIG TIME! They were kicking ass and the crowd loved their set! It was worth rushing back to SYSTEM!
What a great night it was and it insanely wicked to see so many people out after the BULL we went through last night! RESPECTZ to all!

Now I can say finally that I did see the man that started it all (Or did he!!)...
CROWD : 11/10..People @ system defenitely know how to party
MUSIC: 10/10 right before Oakenfold:D We've got great Canadian talent specially Jonah which in my opinion should've won the prize hands down, but then again I'm not a D.J...
shout outs to MAXTUH and Ryanparks, can't wait to see your pics buddy

Oakefold was , it wasnt worth my 10 $, but the canadian Djs were awesome:haha:
Shoutouts to Ryan, Shaya, Resnick ,CharmScars and John, if anyone else was there i am sorry i scanned the place couldnt find any TA's
I'd give Oakenfold a 1/10 for his effort though:haha:

Just kept waiting for him to pick it up, but it wasn't happening..The funny thing was that on my way out I saw Max Graham and DANIELE DAVOLI chillin' outside the club!

| Oakenfold....the world's #1 DJ? If you're talking about the DJ magazine poll from years back then ok. I'm sure in some people's opinion perhaps he is but industry-wise he's far from it. World's #1 sellout DJ maybe :D I agree with Rocco - shouldn't be a rating like that - it only fuels to turn DJs into egotistical snobs who lose touch with their audience. Just go out, play a great set and have fun. Aside from some sub-par soundtracks and being Madonna's remixer bitch, Chokie really hasn't done much this year to earn him the distinction of being in the top 100 of all the other fantastic DJs out there both international and especially our locals. |

Well now I remember what I asked him .... (remember I was drunk when I posted that review@730am)
I asked him " How does it feel to be at the level your at ?"
Chill guys ... it ain't my fault Oakenfold was cool with me.
In the Guinness Book of World Records, Paul Oakenfold was reconized as the world's biggest DJ a few years back.
Anyhow the DIGNUTZ should be SHOT in the NUTS and HEAD for missing what what I requested from that girl! |
