That's pretty cool, but $20,000 is quite a lot of money for a turntable, especially if you can't DJ with it. They also have one that costs $13,000 that does not play 78rpm records.
Would be nice if they could further the technology by having the record exposed like a regular turntable, although they would have to implement some sort of safety feature regarding the lasers. I'm pretty sure it's against the law to have the laser light visible on a CD player, as it can damage your eyes if you look into it. |

I'd buy a convertable to start. That thing is ugly. Technics tables are good looking. That thing looks like just another giant cd player :P.

i'd just make a laser cartridge that converts the audio back to analog for the tonearm.
that would be hella cool. not sure how'd it work though. magic hovering or something?? lol

| i wouldnt buy one of these if i was hugh hefner, turntablism all the way baby, you can stick all your technology up yer ass frankly. leave these rich boy n00b equipment to the half-ass DJs that do it to try and look cool, ill stick to doing it the same way as hundreds and hundreds of DJs before me :) |

I think that's aimed more to the 1337 hifists rather than DJ's... |
