8 hours of Mark Oliver's unique breed of progressive house at the sardine can that is the Guvernment... lemme think about that... NO!
I can hardly bear to go there on a special night anymore, let alone a resident night. If anybody wants to chill out in a place that isn't hot, smokey, rammed with 2000 prosaic cookie-cutter fops and raining sweat - i.e. a bar, restaurant, beach, whatever - I'd be up for that. The rest of you have fun in the Torture Chamber, though! |

I gured that more people would be interested in meeting up tonight.... :conf:
I guess the biggest problem is transportation (with the subway dead, and buses a hopeless effort).. At least @ theGuv you've got the time to catch you breath a little before heading home right at 2am (a-la bar option). |

That's a good option. Transport might be tough (especially if people want to have a few beers) though.
Any ideas as to what bar? |

Haha sorry about that, although it's hard to organize non-club meetups on TOTA, especially at the last minute. But hey, I'm up for any bar meetup that's being organized. I think there's a Firkin on the Esplanade? So that's pretty close to the Guvernment for people who want to go. I could check out the Guv afterwards but I probably wouldn't stay long.
Buses are brutal, I wonder how my parents would feel about taking one of their cars down when I'm not insured... |
