What an amazing night! Cant believe how good Steve helstrip was!!

Was originally a little dissapointed with how nervous was playing tho - hard as all . I thought since he was warming up for a uplifiting act he would play some similiar stuff ( similiar to PVD @ Gas ). All was forgiven when pulser - My religion was played tho, its the first time ive heard it in a club!

When Mr Helstrip stepped up i was immediately impressed with his mixing skills and track selection,it felt like i was at halcyon Aalto - rush was the first track i recognised, i always have a mad time going off to that . There were quite a few after that that i recognised , but drinking has hindered my memory . Of course the defining moment of the whole night was when Synaethesia ( en - motion mix i would assume) was played. This is one of my all time fave tracks and it went off!! I thought Binary Finary was a good way to finish up too, its such a huge track.

I think the biggest surprise of the night was Jumping jack for me. I really really enjoyed his set, and thought it was awesome to see him break away from the regular hard stuff he plays at Sublime. I remember System F - Spaceman , and Binary Finary ( again!) being played. I thought his mixing was ing good, and he worked the crowd really well. I was enjoying his 'brand' of hard
ish uplifting stuff, havent heard that from any other Dj's yet.

I thought archie played quite well too , i left about 530 but from what i saw he was quite good. The hard trance mix of Planet Funk - Chase the Sun was ing awesome too, Anyone know what the track is called?

All in all a great night, cant wait for the next event at gas!

BLEH!
Finding you TA's was a mission impossible...
I arrived @ GAS when Nervous was cueing Cloxk and Exploration of Space. Me and a friend headed towards the Front, sadly though, I could not recognise anyone, the only person I could have, would have been webbie, but alas, my eyes could not find the target.

Anyhoo, HOLY FARK - Steve's set was *soooo damn beautiful* !
Tiz was a MUCH needed Trance fix since my last *real* trance even was PVD@GAS [didnt really enjoy Utopia and Transmission...]
BUT it would have been better if I got to party with the TA's, me and my friend were hoping to meet youse there but we couldnt find anyone, so it was just me and him :sadgreen:

But Steve, wow... the most uplifting set I've heard this year - tracks that I could remember:

Signum - Push Through
Push - Journey of Life
Push - Strange world
System F Spaceman (Matti Laamanen remix)
Binary Finary - 1998 :D
Pos - Remember
Thrillseeker - Synthiseasia
Darren tate jono grant - nocturnal creatures
Solid Globe - North Pole
Ronski Speed - Iris !!!!! :eyespop:

We left straight after Steve's set, cause I was sooo tired from arrangements before hand...
Still dissapointed about not meeting though, will definitely make an effort not only to meet up @ GAS but also @ pre-party drinks for J00F :toothless :toothless :toothless

MUAHAHAHHA my friend brang he's digital camera in and took some photo's and video's, shall be uploaded very soooooooon I think
