oakenfold was alright. played trance, and stuck breaks, prog and house inbetween.
Track of the night was definitely Li Kwan - Point Zero! Yeah! It was worth it just hearing it live.
Kool Haus was not overly packed, so all in all, not bad. Still, when I saw him at Pacha in Ibiza, that was his highpoint...

Oakenfold wasnt that great at all, whereas Mark Oliver was bangin'

Personally i thought Oakenfold was a waste of my cash. I rather should have paid 10$ for Mark and stayed there the entire night, instead i ended speing 45$ for all acess:whip: |

well i saw oakie 2 nights in a row, he's still a great dj, not sure if its worth 35$.

Wanted to see Oakey, but didn't wanna pay that cover, so went to Guv for Mark O, and ended up getting 1 of those Heinekin necklaces from him to go over (THANX A MILLION!). WEnt and saw a bit of Davoli and to grab some beers for friends, came back, & went back for the 2nd hr of his set. Room was going nuts! Heard 3 poor mixes, but the rest he salvaged. Highlight of the hour had to be when he dropped "Nobody Listens to Techno" and the room went BEZERK at the peak!!! That moment alone had to be worth the $35 cover to anyone who paid. The visuals were amazing- I'm so glad he brought those perfecto visuals along w/him, that I'd seen last summer when he played at Heaven in London. Live feed was great. The other visuals were quite nice too. Heard he played "As the Rush Comes" and I'm glad I missed it- I'm really getting tired of that song, but then Davoli played it later on, which was REALLY confusing, cuz that didnt fit into his set what-so-ever. Even happier I missed "Satisfaction" ;) . His set was nothing like his amazing journey I experienced last summer, but 1 thing is for sure- the crowd is always up for it, no matter what he plays, and there's nothing like an Oakenfold crowd.
Saw High Spirit, Resnick, maxtuh, charmscars, pixiecxhick, rabbitjoker, jenna_rae, schryer, TrueToTheCrew, Shaya007, & Seventh Sun (did this guy make it home ok? sorry bro, I HAD to take your keys...).
Handed out some flyers w/Itikia & Miss Q afterwards (thanx for letting me and my Irishman warm up in the car).
Party: 8/10

Were the best I've seen in a very long time @ Kool Haus. Oakie defenitely made up for his not so fantastic performance @ System the night before. What are the chances to be able to see this man live twice in one week!?;)
This wasn't a mind blowing set by any standards, but yet one that keeps the crowd movin' and enjoying themselves and that's what I love to see all the time...
Back to Spin....We were one of the very few that got there around 10pm and were blown away by the very first song that MARK played for a very special person..Cafe delmar the Chilled version On Phazon makes you virtually CRY!
Mark you're the best and you know it...

What an amazing night. Oakie was awesome, played some kickass tunes. a good alternative from the usual anthem filled sets im used to.
Danny came on after oakie and played a trance set. WOW! everyone who went to see mark o, you made the wrong choice!
DEKOZE came on after danny for an hour and dropped some wicked tracks, including XPANDER!!!!!
never ever did i think i would hear that song.
wicked night, sorry i didnt see any TA's but i was looking. i had my eye out for you RJ but couldnt find you. anyways, good times. im off to montreal in a week so that is probably my last party in TO for a while. |

| This may sound like a really dumb question.... but how do all you TA's recognize eachother? Is it from meeting a club and saying "Hey, you're a TA too?", then seeing them at different events? Or do you guys have pics online that you use to look for the people? |
