my pcs (now both of them) are under my desk in my room for the next 2 weeks. after that they'll be staying in my dorm, one serving as a router / server and the other one to have fun on. to prepare for that, i spent 4 days installing a new hard drive (7200 rpm 160GB), transferring all my music to it, cloning my old hard drive and making the clone work in the 'new' pc, which is actually a dell 300 mhz tower with 128 (now 160 :D) mb RAM; and i also set up a network between them which actually took me 2 minutes :D
man, win2k is a bitch when it comes to swapping motherboards.... hehehe.
so now i'm in complete control of my little empire using a KVM switch. i'm so proud of it! :D :D :D
and trust me, my room is a mess right now, like a war zone. maybe i'll post a pic later. i have a mini fridge, my laundry basket, two portable chairs, a few empty cardboard boxes, two windows fans, and just a LOAD of clothes lying everyingwhere... what a mess! |

I just got a new computer actually - A laptop.
I have wireless internet or something so I can take my laptop all around my house (Within 100 feet from my room) But right now it's in my room right in front of me.

Since everyone's posting huge pics of their computers, I'll post mine as well.
An Apple Mac, with e speakers, nowhere near my decks, a 56k connection, shared with 3 other people.. .does it get any worse? At least it looks good :p
We've also got a laptop that I sometimes take upstairs, wireless networking would be ideal for that really.
