my boyfriend and i just purchased the numark tt200 (we have everything else) and they will be arriving in a week.....which is very exciting, but i used the search engine for numark and just found out that there are no target lights or curved tonearms (just stright) what exactly does that mean for us when we start to use them??? do we immediately have to buy them??:conf: will it be harder to learn if we don't?? also, do they still package them like that?? or did we luck out;) ...that's highly doubtful....anyway please help--numark sucks!! how come i didn't know this, and what exactyly does this mean, i am soooo new at this!!

Calm down... a straight & a curved are included. Just as the target lights. And the Numark TT200's are great turntables =)

yeah, no target light or s-shaped tone arms with the tt200s... but not completely necessary. i woul recommend to get the s-shaped tone arms in the future though cause the straights wear out the vinyl faster.

when did you get your decks? Since 2Q 2003, they dont include them anymore... part of the 'attempt to keep costs down for the consumer' according to numark - my ass!!

dont worry bout it, the target lights arent necessary, except maybe if youre playin out in a dark room . . . i really think that youll due any more than usual wear with straights if you keep the tracking weight down.
If you do choose to buy the curved tonearm, its like $25, and the target lights are like $18.
