pah rubbish i say
as time goes on lots of things are bound to happen. they might not happen for any apparent reason but they do. I mean, i might only be 19, nearly twenty, but everything is looking up from now. My studies are going well, i've recently met some great great people. Falling in love and being heartbroken happens to the best of us, but like i said, eveyrthing happens for a reason, and new people are alwayus entering out lives :) |

"No matter how careful, you are, there's going to be the sense you missed something, the collapsed feeling under your skin that you didn't experience it all. There's that fallen heart feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should've been paying attention.
Well, get used to that feeling. That's how your whole life will feel some day."

yep, there's the words someone who hasn't left the shelter of college yet and doesn't live on their own......:p Ya sound like a captain on his first voyage boasting about the calm seas......lol
But, success doesn't come easy, and anyone who's experienced trying times and real living in general knows better than to say the first post is rubbish. :thepirate c'mon now |

DJ-MDMA, you might be living in a life dat you rarely worried about money or anything else, normally taken care by your parents. Once you head out to the big sea and get no more or very less help from your parents, you will understand how scary it is^^. But of course u can the next Bill Gates, Michael Jordan, Tiesto..etc.... then it wont apply to you. Keep this thread and read it when you are 25 then you will understand wut i mean :D |

Well, I feel like that but I have a beef with the math....
If I have to live through this many years 3 more times I will die....oh wait that is the point.....hmmm
I like to think of this as my "midlife crisis" time though...since I doubt I will live much past 40.

Much of the first stuff applies to me, and that started when I was 15, (17 now.) I guess its just how my life is, parents split, and other wierd that shouldn't be in any kid's life I guess. I've become a pessimistic sarcastic , satirical, independant bastard. And I like it that way ;)
I find it funny how everyone in the world is looking at themselves as the ones with f$cked up lives.. :D

back to the topic at hand ...
this little excerpt hits a little too close to home for me. i got it in an email a couple years ago and i find that it still applies now. it seems to me as if i haven't gone anywhere in my life. it's as if the pieces of my life and who i am are scattered everywhere and i can't seem to find the right pieces to put it all back together. but i hope that one day things will clear up for me and i will find my way, whatever that is. i truly believe that all things happen for a reason and i may not know what that reason is now but one day i will.
cheers. |
