Well, I had a very bad, bad tragedy.
Somehow, burning on the free space of the CD-RW in wich I had my Paul Oakenfold video live @ Ultra, my Judge jules live @ Qontact, and some Armin van buuren set, were hidden :( . I tried to burn on the free space, and I dont know how the held, I cant see those files, but just as .ISO when trying to extract them. The disc says no Not - rewritable, dont know why, and when trying to read the files ( they are as ISO ) I cant extract them :( :( . So this come to the conclusion, that me and my 56K modem, have lost one of the best pieces of trance. Oakey video @ Ultra, and the sooo damm best of the best of Jules live @ qontact.... gggggrrrr.....
Im getting my DSL in about a month, so I hope there'll be someone to share this files with me.

| Sorry to hear that dude...computers can be such a pain in the ass. I would tell you to back things up but obviously, thats what you were doing!:D |

| Had something like that too. Computercrash. About 5 gb of livesets and other trance albums and traxxx were gone. pretty ed up |

| One of the easier solutions (if you can afford it) is just get a backup hard disk drive. I have a hard drive especially for backup and once a month I take it out of the drawer in the closet, connect it, back everything up then store it again. If I lost my 1000's of MP's, 100's of videos, 10's of thousands of pics, needless to say my documents from work, etc, I'd shoot myself for sure (just kidding but I'd probably be in major depression lol). It's so much faster and reliable than CD's, it's worth the price ($100-200 depending on brand/size/speed for a good drive if you know the right places). Even 8x CD burning is slow as hell, compared to a hard drive. I don't know about you guys but a great deal of the relevant things I've done in the past few years are all things on my computer, whether work related, or hobbies, losing all of it would be dramatic. |

why do u have it so u cant see hidden files anyway?? waste of time :p go into ur folder options and tick the box that sez sumthing like 'show hidden files'.. it would have saved u all this bother :)

I didint mean to have them as HIDDEN, when I tried to burn on the free space of the CD-RW, I dont know what the hell happened , and they just disappeares, on CD INFORMATION I can see the writen sectors though, but cant extract them to my Hard Drive nor Read them, its on .ISO mode or something... im just pissed. |
