I have faith in Shearer but realistically I think it'll be Henry.
Van Nistelrooy relies on penalties, one in three of his goals last season were penalties. If he misses his next pen that'll be 3 in a row and Fergie might just pick someone else to take the pens.
Last season:
Van Nistelrooy: 25 goals (8 pens)
Henry: 24 goals (3 pens)
Shearer: 17 goals (2 pens)
Owen: 19 goals (2 pens)
Viduka: 20 goals (3 pens)
Beattie: 23 goals (5 pens)
Anelka: 15 goals (1 pen)
etc...
As you can see it was penalties which put RVN at the top. |

Kevin Philips. With beatie up front now with him, they will be sensational, and i seriously think that they will finish in top 6, between them and blackburn.
