For the price, you'd almost be better off saving up for a pro-sumer sound card.. (or something that doesn't record like ).
Other thing is, that usb devices like that generally take up some cpu power, how much I do not know.

i would say it dose sound like a very promosing product... but i dont know if I would buy it...
But if you have $160 dollars burning a hole in your pocket and your computer has the RAM to support it i dont see why you shouldnt give it a try :D |

| USB interfaces (unless USB 2.0) are very limited in bandwidth. where as a soundcard is straight into the motherboard. i would just get a really high quality soundcard, ex. SB audigy 2 platinum, and just use the RCA jacks on the drive. i also use this card as my midi input, and have no problems with it. i know some people dont like sound blasters but mine works fine. |

| Keep in mind that that's $160 AUD (Aussie Dollars) .. Works out at about $100 US ... |

| ah, didnt notice that, cuz that Sound Blaster is like $200 US, so maybe that is a pretty good deal, if anyone has it id like to know what they think of it. |
