Disc-man that can play CD-R with mp3s

Are disc-men that can play CD-R's with mp3's already reliable? A guy told me it's better to still wait a time to buy till they have become more stable. Or are there already reliable ones? If so, which marks (e.g. panasonic, sony...)?

| My friend got a CD/MP3 player. He got the Rio Volt, it's pretty good ($169), like 40 sec anti-skip and I think 15 hours on the battery life (when playing MP3 cds). The only problem I have with it is that I don't think it gets that loud :( |

I got a mp3/cd player....I love it...Pine D'Music....thats what I got.
Its got ID3 tag and every thing....
I paid £150 good deal I fink.
I never play normal cdees anymore

...and i think sony will be releasing one soon...i've seen pictures of it anyway
it's a good idea, seeing you can have so many tunes on one cd!! :):)
...but they are kinda bulky i think :p |

| I have Philips Expanium 101 i believe.....I havent understood how to make my Mp3 CDs to work yet....Anyone? You cant use large headphones either...In that case you have to have low volume.......And that sux dont you think? Works quite nice though |
