I emailed the Airheadz after i bought the test pressing of "stanleys in a trance" cos their aol e-mail adddress was on the label.Anyway i just thought i'd tell them that i liked the track and they'd done a good job, whatever, and one of them replied the next day. So we e-mailed each other a few times, and then one day i got a form to fill to join the record label mailing list(free records baby) they are on/own. So there's my little story.
Anyways peace |

| Most Dj's have a very busy life.. so they haven't got time to answer you mail. Dj's like Armin van Buuren (@ his mailinglist), Marco V (guestbook), Rank 1 (forum), DJ JamX will sometimes answer on your question.. sometimes not. |

Ok the story is as follows. A while back I managed to stumble across an excellent track called “I Believe” by Lange. I loved this track so much that I wanted to own a copy. As I don’t have turntables, and I didn’t want to have just an MP3 copy, I really needed a CD Single.
I decided to go and visit Positivia’s web site, in which I found a Bulletin Board. I decided to hammer the board in the hope that Positivia would make a CD Single release. They eventually replied with “Well, if we get enough requests, we may just look into it” So with the help of some other people around the world, we sort of signed a mini partition. Whilst this was happening, I decided to email Lange about the matter. On his older website there was a personal e-mail address. I was surprised to receive a reply, in which he was very much happy with my support for him, and that if I gave my address, he would send me a Promo CD of his new track at the time “Follow Me” About a week later it arrived in the post, with a letter explaining that “I Believe” was going to feature on a 2CD set of the new release “Follow Me”
The CD was also signed: “To Paul…From Lange” This was an excellent surprise, and there was also a letter explaining what tracks of his to be looking out for in the future.
Later on, the 2 CD single set was aborted, and “I Believe” was eventually released on a Long-Play CD for the UK (which is very rare!) as a bonus track, with all the mixes of “Follow Me” as well! All my hard work had payed off!
Lange is a champion, and listens to his fans which is very important!
The CD also made it’s way to Australian shores, and as I walked past the music shelves, I pondered “I bet no-one knows I had a part in that release!” (along with the guys that helped post in the board)
So there you go, an absolute true story! |
