hypothetical question bout speakers

theres a slight possibility of me gettin somethin like this, so im just wondering...
hypothetically, if i were to buy two powered speakers, such as jbl eons, what else would you need? also to add to the equation, my mixer doesnt have balanced out (i think... it just has regular rca output) so what would i need for that? |

| most powered speakers like that take xlr connectors so you probably need whatever adaptor you need depending on what your mixer has and what your speakers will have |

Basically you'd need cables with the right connections.
As for balanced connections, they are better because they provide better shielding against interferences (and usually carry a higher level signal). But for short distances (like in your home) unbalanced is more than good enough, don't worry. |
