Oh yes! I would like to hear some dreamy trance or prog remix of that and actually most of them would suit very well to be remixed. Remixers like James Holden, Solid Sessions, Way Out West, Markus Schulz, Sasha or Taucher, in his older mid 90s style would be great. Or maybe Ulrich Schnauss, Michael Woods or Larry Lush doing ambient remakes..
I wouldn't want the standard uplifing producers Armin, Ferry etc. to remix Enya, their sounds and synths are starting to sound boring to me. Too similar with each other.

Sir Edward Elgar - Nimrod (from The Enigma Variations)
an absolutely beautiful classical piece. I'd love to hear Jezper from Airbase make a remix of this, I love his style and sound, it'd suit a trance remix of this perfectly.
I've actually messaged him about a remix of this, he said its difficult to remix classical pieces, but he'll look at it. I doubt it'll happen since he's so busy now. It'd be awesome if any of you talented TA producers could do a remix of this :D |

I've heard a (harder) trance version of Money For Nothing and it was sooo bad. Artist was Avancada and Marc van Linden remixed that track. I think it's hard to make a decent trance version of DS tracks, no one "good" dares to touch them perhaps. I love the originals so some nice, preferably more calm versions would be great. |
