Then don't wear 'em.

I can think of a lot of things that other people (including TAs) do that serve no purpose.
))the source((
I don't care what you all say. I have a red pair. I have a clear pair. I wear the red pair if I want to see red for the night. I have a clear pair if I feel like I don't want people looking into my eyes that night...not because I'm all fukked.

Plus...I think that I look pretty damn cool in them even if you don't.

So ladies and gentlemen...THAT is why I wear the shades.

See you all in da clubs. Or not.
StereoPrincess
I have worn different types of shades in a club and I really don't think that this is a problem. I have very sensitive eyes and once that lazer zaps me right in the eye, I'm pretty much blind for the rest of the night. I lost all my pairs of sunglasses now so I don't wear them and just suffer all night. I just have to get used to it I guess.

But you do need them on the way home, first to drive without being blind and second to hid your sketchiness.

Well consider yourself in the very small minority there honey. Guess the lights are really bright for you at System and Afterlife as well? Just admit it...You think it makes you look better :D And there's nothing wrong with that sweetheart.

Didn't realize you were keeping such close tabs on me, partyprincess. If you knew who I was all this time, how come you never introduced yourself?

If you'll read a little more carefully next time, you'll see that liking the way they look was reason #4. So maybe you should listen to other people before piping up, that way you might not have to take so much "abuse" on this forum. But just to clarify, I didn't actually put them on at Afterlife, and I rarely do at system (just when they're going spastic with the lights in the main room and they're totally unpredictable).

As for your other post about smoke getting "trapped", I'll refrain from comment. Just leave the science stuff to the scientists and engineers here, and stick to the history and other artsy crap that you study, k?

And this so-called artsy crap requires 4 hours of practicing alone, aside from hours of composing, producing, spinning, studying and lessons. If there weren't people like me, there would be no music. And then you wouldn't even have a place to parade around in wearing those glasses. P.S...I'm not taking history...Are you taking history? Who's taking history?????

That's pretty interesting. DigiNut what did you mean by arsty crap? We all listen to "artsy crap?"

Personally I think the glasses do little for the smoke. The smoke doesn't really get trapped in but it doesn't get blocked out either. Only when I'm walking I find it blocks smoke. Not dancing or sitting or standing.

Party P do you play an instrument?

Alright princess, the reason I and everybody else on this planet knows about your education is that you've spent hours posting tirelessly about it. I also seem to remember you making a few posts about taking honours history and being very proud of that, so you'll excuse me if I find it pretty funny that you now claim never to have been in that field.

Keep in mind you're preaching to a fellow musician here, who's had enough education to be qualified to teach, so don't assume that you're impressing anyone with that BS about your practicing... and in terms of your DJing abilities, none of us have ever heard you or even heard OF you as a DJ, so unless you want to post a demo mix, kindly cut the crap.

Elevate, you are indeed correct that it doesn't block a lot of smoke when one is standing still. I don't stand still at parties though, I dance and I walk around, and at smokey clubs like Viva (and don't anyone get the wrong idea, I love that place in spite of the smoke) they help a lot.

Last but not least, it's laughable that a girl who wears 17 pounds of makeup would have a problem with sunglasses... :wtf:

Speaking of which, I was trying to figure out where I could've met you when you made that first post, LoL... it's cool though, and thanks for the backup. :) Feel free to introduce yourself at some point!

Partyprincess - what are those reasons again why you're afraid to put out a demo? I mean, aside from the obvious... Anyway, since you remember seeing me at Afterlife, I'm sure you remember me having spoken to you there, and therefore, seen you "up close". End of discussion.

P.S. Maybe it was one of your "girlfriends" posting under your name about the history garbage. :haha: :p
