yep the cinematography was deliciously beautiful, too bad the plot didn't measure up to the scenery. But its not that bad a film, you'd be hard pressed to find a film whose scenery is as gorgeously sensual as this one.
i give it a B

| too complicated to understand. my knowledge of chinese legends isn't that great so i had no idea what was really happening. only like the 'mental' fight sequence |

| yeah saw this ages ago also, when will it be released in america? i mean official theatrical release, as you can already buy the dvd and vcd of it (mostly bootlegs, but there are legit copies floating around also) |

I really liked the plot its not so complicated, and the scenery and photography were also amazing
