And he hasnt just been good recently, the reason for voting him number 1 would be because he is so consistent. his sets are no different from last year. compare his nature 2002 set from last year with his nature 2003 set from few weeks back. My reasoning behind this assumption, is that for much of 2003, pvd has refused his sets to be broadcasted. up until recently of course. now for those who actually hav seen pvd a few times thruout the year will know that he has been on form all of 2003, and not just for the past month or 2 since his sets hav started getting broadcasted again.. just thought id get that off my chest, coz its ing annoying.. brings to mind bandwagons and mp3 kiddies all at once.. grrr..
with regard to this post tho, altho pvd is infact my #1 dj, as strange as it seems, i would prefer him not to be number 1. why u may ask.. well... something i noticed with tiesto last year and most of this, is that he has attracted in the club a lot of s who are there for the name, and not becoz they are true fans.. altho i am not one of the bigger tiesto fans, i find this quite bad for the true fans who hav to put up with these twats. i fear the same will happen if pvd is #1.

ok my bad about born slippy...but, me being a bandwagon is just ridiculous....i have been listening to paul for 5 years now....hence the "politicsofdancin" name that i choose as my handler on ta...not religiously , like you "o" almighty mikey mike, but good enough to know that he is a great dj and a master in producin IMO!!!....
i do agree with your opinion about you not wanting him to become #1 due to the fact that you saw what happened to tiesto....as you might recall, i "was a huge fan of tijs" , i still respect the guy,but i did noticed the same predicament that you have noticed...being number 1 dj in the world can make you "commercial"..the likes of tiesto and oakey....and lil kiddies starts making them there idols...but the reason that im promoting pvd for a #1 spot in the Dj list is because he is "very due"...hopefully he will be smart and not become a "sell out"

Hmmm wtf :conf: this just proves how much of a twat u are Indy. my post wasnt even directed at you personally. and since i 'asked' for it, while were on the subject of bandwagons, how can someone who has apparently been listening to pvd for 5 years not no about born slippy. my nxt door neighbour who likes to cane the old garage and hip hop no's pvd for born slippy. gzus.
did u just expect to come in with ur "OMG OMG" comments and expect everyone else to agree coz thats the impression i get from ur responce. I put forward some points i think are worth discussing and u respond with this guff? nice one matey

People keep making useless ing posts about how godly they are. Just about every day there's a new "OMFG PVD OWNS" thread. Do you see posts about Sasha kicking ass? Markus Schulz kicking ass? It's getting really ing annoying.
YES THE MAN DOES OWN, BUT YOU DONT HAVE TO ING RANT ABOUT IT EVERY 2 MINUNTES.
I still love trance, and yes, pvd is indeed my #1 DJ, but jesus christ, will you people stop going crazy over these DJs like a bunch of 12 year olds at a N'Sync concert? :whip: :whip: :whip:
I'm not attacking anyone in particular, just the mass of groupies who insist on hugging their fav DJs nuts and making it clear to everyone. I just dont like the idea of idolizing someone and being crazy over them. I think it's about respect....
I mean it's cool and all to show that people like a certain DJ, even I do it, but I dont make an entire post talking about all his godly productions and recent sets. Just let it be, those who know he's good, know themselves, and don't need to be reminded.
