What kind of sound card are you using. This delay is called latency. Its the time your card takes to process the signal.
Go into Devices ==> Device Setup ==> VST Multitrack.
Select the Asio Driver if you have not done so yet. If you have a cheaper sound card, then this is what is most likely the cause of these delay issues. Somewhere in there is your buffer size as well. I can't remember exactly where. If you decrease the buffer size, you will decrease the delay, but the smaller the buffer, the worse quality the sound. Eventually, you will get crackling. |
