Well, my G2 has just expired.. And since I haven't been driving at all since I've got it(well, I've only been driving for a couple of months before I went to university, and didn't have access to the car since then), I doubt I can get a G (I simply won't pass the test)

What to do? Will I have to pass G1 again? and then after 8 months pass G2?

I believe you have to start the whole process over again

You definitely have to take the G2 again, not sure about G1 tho

you are supposed to start the whole thing again. however they generally let you take your g1 and then right away take your g2. (couple of friends who were in the same situation as you) However i woudlnt be to worried about your G. Here in ottawa anyway the g tests tend to be just as easy as your g2. Just go slow be safe and learn to parallel park.

This happened to me as well. My G2 expired before I had a chance to take my G2 exit test (to get my G).

They extended my G2 until the date of my G2 exit test. If I failed the G2 exit test then my liscense would expire. I would have to take the G1 test over, but not wait the 8 (or 12) months to do the G1 exit test (to get your G2).

However - being the zen master of driving that I am - I passed the G2 exit with only 1 'tick' on the sheet.

Take your G Test in Oshawa. Streets are simple and here, most people don't have the IQ to know if u ran over a red light, stop sign or even someone's pet.:haha:  :happy2: :happy2: :haha: :stongue:

i failed my g2 test twice....apparently examiners dont like it when u yell at them and tell them THEY are wrong and YOU were right...(even if ur 3 point turn had 6 points)

thanks guys. I was worried that I'd have to wait 8 months before taking G2 after taking G1 again. If I don't have to wait it's ok..
