| One of the big US channels wanted to buy the rights to BlackAdder once upon a time, think it was during the second or third series. Thinking they could make a US version working on the 'Olde English' theme. But after thinking about how much cash they would get from it, the producers and the BBC decided against it because they didn't think the US audience would understand the bottom-line concept of sarcasm and irony, and it would probably backfire in their faces. |

only fools and horses is my al time favorite , specially the one where they dress as batman and robin and save the town counciler lmao.
