so, went to see freddy vs. jason... taking a risk though, cuz my buddy was only 16... for the first time ever they asked us for IDs, and believe me, we look way over 17. i don't care, i'm 18, but my buddy didn't have one and even if he did - he's still only 16

so i was thinking, this R restriction is really quite pointless, an echo of puritanism... come on, what are we trying to hide from the 'kids' that they don't already know?

buh, sorry for the rant, i'm just a little disappointed... going to see the matrix in imax tomorrow and i really don't want this to happen again

i thought the rated R restriction made it so that you could only see the movie IF you were acompanied by an adult

being 18 you would be considered an adult and
that takes care of that

being 18 doesn't get you here, except an ability to buy cigarettes, which i don't need. you gotta be 21 for most things with an exception of 19+ for a few clubs.... really, this 'freedom' we have is only an illusion. i can't even go see pvd ffs!
SuperFarStucker
Just scalp tickets.. i've done it plenty of times.. just make sure the guy isn't shady.. Haha.. it pisses the out of the clerk at the desk that just said 'sorry you need id' when she sees you hand another guy a couple of bills and then he comes up and asks for tickets you just wanted.. but what can s/he do!?
