I was wondering, You know Winamp has a sort of 'Spectrum thing', would that almost give you a little hint at what areas of a certain style of song are EQed?
Cos if so, that could be quite usefull? it is a spectrum right? |

I'm not sure about 2, but the answer with Winamp 3 is
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!
All the frequencies that a producer should be tuning the most accurately seem compressed and there are way too many frequency bands over 10k. Even the best mastered trance I have looks like garbage on the Winamp 3 spectrum. |

In Winamp, hit ctrl+L and in the box that comes up, type in "linein://" (without the quotes). That should make winamp play whats being sent through your linein, and allow visualization with it too. |
