I saw many post Moogwai - Viola (Armin Van Buuren Remix) in their top 10 all time. I think the original has more emotion and is far better, am I the only one?? Any thoughts...

i like the armin remix better

They are both good, but they both have flaws as well.Armin's remix gets too repetitive towards the end, where as the original doesn't have as much power as Armin's remix.Still, they are both very good tunes, and I like em both.

armin mix by a mile...original doesn't have the energy, fire and emotion of the armin mix

I completely agree. When I first heard the original on one of the Platipus compilations in late 1999 it totally blew me away. When the track was released on CD and vinyl in early 2000 with the Armin remix, my opinion wasn't particularly high. The Armin Van Buuren Mix is more "uplifting" and would probably work better than the original in a club atmosphere, but I find the original to be a lot smoother and much more driving than the AVB Mix.

my thoughts exactly...the AVB Rmx sorta takes the magic out of the original...
