Net MD walkman's

anybody with a net md walkman?
i've read up on them and i am just curious about one major thing...
how's the realibility and how long did it take it (the mini disc player) to break :D ???
im kinda hesitant because im worried SONY'S realibility...heard bad things about md's breaking and im hoping people can prove otherwise.

I don't know about the reliability of the players (I assume it is fairly good), the big issue with the NetMD walkmans is that, as far as I can tell, they are not actually Mp3 players. They use sony's software to encode your Mp3 files into one of sony's standard MD audio compression scemes and then burn it onto the disc.
This may not be a factor for you, but I would keep it in mind. The software is PC only as well.

| i have a broken MZ-N1 atm, i put it through a lot of abuse in 9 months, but then it gave up the ghost. Took it everywhere with me, constant playing + recording. It wasn't actually damaged thru me being irresponsible, somehow, it suffered water damaged and it wasn't covered by warranty :whip: |

my lil bro has one, I wasnt that impresed with the compression techniques of comverting mp3's onto it, I felt that the bass was lacking a bit.
As to its relibality hes had no problems at all for 6 months. |

| i have one, had it for nearly a year, take it everywhere with me. its like my baby :) no problems as of yet other then it doesnt go loud enough. but that might be me going deaf cus i listen to to much music :nervous: |
