pretty solid from holden, the mixings very smooth and tracklist is great.
fair bit of techno which i wasnt expecting but the cd's flowed quite nicely.

i finished listening to cd one..
one word= winner
this is easily the best compilation put together this year
very intelligent and cd1 midway thru the mix has a chunk full of spirit and soul.
i call it a soulsearching mix....very unique and splendid. like a magic carpet ride...beautiful and intelligently crafted. |

What kinda stuff does James Holden mix? I've heard of him but never heard any of his mixes. The track list looks very un-familiar, can anyone tell me what kinda "vibe" and "sound" to expect from this CD?

Holden mixes progressive, tech house, and good .
Vibe? Different.
Sound? Different.
Seriously, this is on par with FSOL's production albums in the 90's.
I haven't heard a CD this good in quite a while.
