Probably never, you're in the same boat as the Canadians:
Tons of people who play it but it just isnt in our culture the same way it is for brazilians and europeans. What do teenage North Americans do? Play computer games / etc, Brazilians play soccer all their lives, and so do people in many other countries. |

But seriously, never??? The women have won it already, seems like just a matter of tie before the men do. Although American "Football" does seem to be more intigrated into our culture, and baseball used to be... hmmmm... I still think they could pull it off in time. |

First toy a male Brazilian gets is a soccer ball. Americans get a PS2 or a gun (that's a joke). I don't think USa will be albe to win the world cup in 10 years. Also because there is no WC in 2013, only in 2012 or 2016! Maybe you people can be like Nigeria who has a somewhat strong team, beat the crap out of some country but ends up loosing in the quarter-finals or so.
The same way we brazilians won't ever beat you on Basketball. I think nobody will... |
