Will A. Sabonis play for Lithuanian National Team?

well this question is killin' me! i've already seen him in Vilnius, near his basketball school, but a week ago he gave an interview to the daily "Respublika" and he was rather pessimistic about playing in European Championship in September... furthermore he bought the control stake of "Zalgiris" team. Tho Lithuania has a really great team without him, it would be nice to see our best player of all time ending his career at home...

| well yeah, he's 39 now, but portland trail blazers offered him 7 million to play next season in NBA, tho he refused. he's now retired... tho it's not very terrible not havin' him in the national team as far as LTUis winning :cool: the team is even better without him (tho i was a bit confused in the beginning of euro championship :conf: ) |
