ehhhhh??? We aint no Ravers... don't confuse Arcoholics with Buzzkids... Your liable to get smacked for saying PLUR at Arc... lol... (not really) I thought this was pretty funny. I think the dude that posted this (Biggie) is a lil disgruntled after Nu NRG. He thought seeing a bunch of ppl. standing around whoring DJ's to no-end a lil... ummm.. stupid... to some extent I agree with him but not entirely.

are you kidding?! next to TA, the arc boards are like this global gathering of peace and love. TA only consists 70% of 16 year old dorks becoming ninjas and talking behind their computer. the arc crowd, which yes, does contain some TA's, is a lot cooler in my opinion.

and yeah, i've been known to sweat armin here and there....but the pvd obsession is really irritating me lately. i mean, he's just a dj, and the dj is just a man...it must be annoying to him how people "OMFG" at everything he does...

Yeah... I see where you are coming from. But I am sure a lot of TA's are turned-off by the Anti-Trance sentiment on the board. Plus it is a tight-knit community, and small.. TA is massive, with a ridiculous amount people. A lot of the Arcoholics are older and musically knowledgable, whereas a lot of TA's are pretty ignorant still (often not there fault). Between you, me, and everyone else, I also find it annoying that a lot of the NYTA's do not come out unless it is a big event. Therefore limiting their experiences and ability to really understand different aspects of the music. I stress that I am generalizing, and only referring to a minority not majority. :)

i totally agree. if i lived in NY or anywhere even close to it, arc would be my destination every weekend. and to be honest- as much as i like gabriel and dresden (more of their productions ;)), i don't think anything tops the night when i saw danny howells at the end of may. he's a res there, but the vibe was so much stronger because of the arcoholics. everyone there is so cool and im so jealous that i cant make it up there more often. unfortunately i have only been to arc 2x, but both nights have been so memorable. i need to get my butt back up there!!! i still want to see DT. :D

Shoulda seen him in July. Most people agree that was probably the best set he has ever played at Arc. I was in F'in Heaven that night... The FIRST Track was Tech-House... It was a frenzy... If its vibe you seek, there will be nights where I implore you to go to Buzz... Yes Glow brings in great Talent. But nothing will beat a solid Buzz Vibe on a good night! :D

My current obession with PvD stems from the fact that Ive never seen him perform, so Im really bugging out to finally get to embrace him and especially the music.
