Waterworld and split productions

Can anyone tell me about split productions? Their flyer says Trance Control is booked for Waterworld (as a matter of fact the TC site says its 100% confirmed). I just want to know if they are reliable and stuff like that, never heard about them or this event before. My friend and I are interested in going (he's a big TC fan) and we don't want to be disappointed--especially not for $30.
