Seperate the Toys from the Pros

Come on now, Fruityloops is still pretty much a 'Toy'/beginers Production sequencer right, Im mean it would explain the price differences. Im fed up of people telling me its great and Im just the one who cant EQ it right but come on, the greatest songs here on this forum are made with something other than fruityloops and any pro would laugh at the sight of it so come on, lets put these names in order and seperate the toys from the big boys

1.Pro Tools/ Digital Performer
2.Sonar2
3.Cubase SX/VST
4.Logic 6
5.Reason
6.Cakewalk
.................................................................
7.Fruityloops Studio
8.Music Maker
9.E-jay

Dint understand the purpose of this thread...

Btw, Yunus, Flutlicht, Shock and a lot of known Pros that makes much better music than most here can get close to, do so with Fruity.
James Holden produces his songs in Buzz, that's a freeware sequencer.
A real Pro can do a good song even on Soundforge alone if he wants...

yeah, laidback luke is such an amateur

Anyway, "We can't get enough" does sound a bit sloppy in terms of mixing/mastering. I wonder if that's luke or fruityloops :)

i wouldnt call shokk etc beginners and they use fruity

guess it depends on the user and what they are trying to achieve with it

Every time this discussion pops up I tend to answer the same way:

It's not WHAT you use, it's HOW you use it.
hey cheggy
I remember reading an article a while back about S.H.O.K.K and their production techniques. They don't use Fruity Loops only. They work in a software dominant studio with a lot of stuff, but its not just fruity loops.

You mean the fl eq plugin?

If so, then, uh, vst?
Damie Mckeown
fruitys eq doesnt mention anything k hz, just hz

xls
does it go over 1000 Hz? because that's a KHz. :toothless
Dj Thy
Of course fruity's EQ reaches the kHz mark (like xls said 1000Hz=1 kHz), would be a pretty lame EQ if it didn't.
