Im drunk at the moment so plaese excuse spellin mistakes.
I just found out my girlfriend has a bloodclot in her leg and im scared im gonna loose her, shes the best thing to come into my life? am i over-reacting? plkeaassse justgimme advice.
I amm so bloody pissed.. |

Hey mate dont worry about it. I'm sure they can op and have it removed no probs. If it was in her brain, worry. But as it's not she'll be fine!

Take it easy my good man,
Since they know it is there the chances of a full recovery are probably very good. Anything can be fatal, but blood clots are treatable with both drugs and surgery. So I would not dwell on the worst case scenario.
Did she by chance fly coach on a couple of long overseas flights? I have heard of some wacky blood clots fromed by sitting like that.

| as long as they found the blood clot early...they can use blood thinners to reduce the size of the clot and help it go along its merry way...otherwise they can also remove it surgically...be glad that they caught it now and not while it went to her heart... hope everything goes well |
