You want patches or wav. files?
Unless your going for really simple basslines, using samples doesn't normally work that well for basslines. You tend to get better results working with midi cos you can alter the pitch and sound to suit the track. |

Learning how to program your own will serve you much better in the long run! |

so, what's the best VST for basslines? :conf:
I can't get anything remotely similar to what i want, deep mad bass like in Olivier Lieb's tunes or James Holden - A Break In The Clouds. I need these are pure pro quality, not really asking for it, but can't make anything remotely similar :nervous: it's even worse for 'trancy' basslines. I've been using samples though.
so, any kind of tips would be good. |

simsynth, it may seem cheap, but its excellent when the svf is used
also, ive heard some tracks that make good use of the 3xosc, real basic but good results with filtering n delay :) |

Triangle 2 is good it comes with alot of good bass presets and its free.
Also the junglist is a solid perfomer when it comes to bass infact i use it on every tune of mine as the bassline and its pretty cheap I think. |

if you want free stuff, then the Synth1 and rgc Triangle II are both quite good for bass sounds.
One thing you need to keep in mind is that your usual trancey bassline is composed of numerous elements that are carefully filtered and delayed; no one bass preset will give you a developed bassline sound. |
