Well if you were to believe the mixmag review then you wouldn't buy it, but then again Mixmag can talk some :toothless.
TOILET TRANCE
Chicane 'Easy to Assmeble' (WEA)
Easy to assemble? 'Easy To Assemble' is so mindless it's a two-piece jigsaw. Tracks range from whishy-washy trance with a male vocodered vocal, to wishy-washy trance with a female vocodered vocal. And it includes a collaboration with Bryan Adams (yawn) and Jewel (dull). Even the half-decent French house-style track 'Some Might Say' is ruined with a crap vocal. It's offensive from start to finish. Forget Radiohead, if you really want to depress yourself stick this on. (Kath Robinson)
Worst tunes 'East Side Story', 'Love On The Run', 'In Praise of the Sun'
Like this? Try Prozac
0/5
:haha:
I'm not really sure that Kath should be starting sentances with 'and', so its pretty badly written, but make of it what you will anyway. |

| Yes, it's worth buying but it's not as good as the previous albums have been. The new one is very pop oriented and i really wonder where has Disco Citizens gone? Some mixes by this Nick's other alias would have been great. |

i haven't heard the album so i can't say. i heared empires (is that on the album)? i wasn't too impressed... it was ok
BUT i wouldn't put too much faith in a mixmag review... |

This album is definitely a "try before you buy" affair.
Diehard Chicane fans will want it of course, but other trancers would likely be happier buying the remix vinyls/singles and leaving the poppier base album on the shelf IMO. |

| Mix Mag's review is a bit harsh but not that far off in my opinion... it's mostly that wishy-washy pop dance that I just can't stand. Anyway, you should definitely listen to it before you buy it... |
