Ok, my computer doesn't allow cookies for some reason, i have it set to 'allow all' but it still doesn't work.
i have to log in everytime i wana post somthing on ta, and some websites i can't even log into for some reason, how do i fix? |
What exactly do you mean when you say you have it set to "allow all?" That setting doesn't exist in any recent version of IE - it's always done on a per-site or per-cookie-type (first party, third party, session) basis. Are you running an old version that doesn't have separate privacy settings? |

ROFL, the sad part isn't the fact that i understood what PMSL stands for, it is the fact that i'm gonna use it from now on:D
and yes, Brad, it could be your firewall, or stuff like norton system works, adaware (you think?), google bar / pop-up stopper or other stuff.. test it out, i suppose you have IE6 - in tools-> options -> privacy tab set the slider to minimum security (mine's on medium and it's working fine) and see if it works. if it doesn't, it's probably some third-party software (also there's a possibility that IE could be 'broken' - maybe you'll need to reinstall)
or also on the bottom of that window there's the "edit" button for adding individual websites to the cookie list for allowing/blocking cookies.
RAAAAARRRRRRR i want a cookie where's me cookie with milkie!?C |

Firewalls, Systemworks, Ad-Aware, and pop-up stoppers aren't likely to block cookies. Google bar is definitely not going to block cookies (if anything it reduces your privacy, not improves it!).
It could be some other 3rd party software, though. If you connect through a proxy, either a regular proxy or a software one like Proxomitron, they can potentially kill cookies.
Just check your privacy settings like he said. |

Hey, does anyone know how long I will be "in training"? I signed up like a year ago.:conf: |
It's based on the number of posts, not time of membership.
No post-whoring though. :p And posts in the chillout room don't count.
Shifty101, which firewall are you using that blocks cookies? ZA doesn't, and I know that a lot of the other popular (but ty) firewalls like BlackIce and Signal9 don't either... are you sure this isn't just some separate cookie management program? |
