Hi all,
something slightly different for you this time.
Virii - Origin (9:04, 12.4MB, 192kbps)
A collaboration between myself and Kier Bates (who still hasn't managed to register here... the gimp :p ). A bit more relaxed than what you'd usually expect from me, mainly because of Kier's influence. A blend of trance and a bit of breaks with symphonic ambient-ish vibe on the side.
Let us know how you feel about it,
Nik & Kier |

Link needs to be fixed with '.mp3' on the end of it.
Downloading now.
EDIT:
I've listened to the track and I like it. The beginning is a tad boring, but at 1:56 I found it starting to get more interesting. The breakdown with the strings is nice, it reminds me of Chicane's 'Empires' off his new album. Melody is good too. I still like your Al Azar tracks best though. :) |

Oops, the link has been fixed :)
Thanks for the comments El~ZaPo... I don't really think it's fair to compare this track to Al Azar stuff since it's a completely different project and different sound. |

I agree about the beginning, but after my latest intro-related saga I'll ignore that and comment on the track proper...it's really beautiful! Soooo soothing.
There's a bag of sweets in it for you and Keir if you let me attempt a remix! Well, I can't afford any sweets but I'd still like to have a go. ;) |

Hmmm, interesting stuff. Definitely a different style to other stuff I've heard from you, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Sounded great, the melody really grew on me after a few listens. Pretty solid stuff. Couldn't really pick out anything that I disliked about the track.
Will listen more... :) |
