female vocals vs male vocals

vocals played a very important role in the success of many tunes
many known singers/performers started up in the trance community
but the majority are female..
So personally i think trance is much better off with female vocalists
...what do u think? |

| It totally depends on the type or song, male and female vocals work well together i think. But i have no preference, because if a songs good, and the lyrics have been well thought out, then it will sound good either way. Thats my opinion. |

| Well, female vocals ar used most of the time I think because a mans voice is too low for a floaty trance tune. But I think the vocals are great in PVD's time of our lives. |

Female 90% of the time please
Though there are some songs that fit perfectly for male vocals
as mentioned paul van dyk - time of our lives
the armin song with ray wilson as well
if its powerfull it works |

| I think male or female, really depends on the what the lyrics are. If the song is kind of sexy then I dont want to hear male vocals. actually female vocals are just better all around imo. |

Never liked male vocals at all that lasted more than a few words or a sentence. But after PvD ripped out Time Of Our Lives I change my mind.
Then again the slamming bassline that drops in helps the track out ten fold. |
