Grant, A good mate of mine whos an absolute stalwart of the sydney clubbing scene (who a lot of you will know or know of...) has been asked to do a radio show on proton radio showcasing the best in locla aussie talent..... well ths show kicks off tonite with 3 hours of Robbie Lowe - Robbies promo from this month and an unreleased mix from SOS (which im informed is the absolute bomb!).... Heres what grant had to say....

[Taken from the tech:logic forums]

Hey folks,

Some of you are already aware of netradio station Proton - they've asked me to put together a monthly three hour program featuring the very best Australian DJ sets. No ads, no presenting - just top notch music from start to finish. Previous Proton shows have featured sets from Tyler Stadius, Infusion, Jay Tripwire, Grayarea, James Zabiela, Moshic, Hernan Cattaneo, Jonathan Lisle, Trendroid, Luke Chable, Luke Fair, Chris Fortier and tonnes more. Hopefully my show can keep the standards just as high!

The show is called .AUdio starting this Friday, Sept 5 at midnight (Sydney time) and the first guest will be resident teched-up prog star Robbie Lowe!

Robbie's three hour special will feature his recent promo, and an exclusive August 2003 live set from Sounds on Sunday that has never been released before.

The show is aimed at taking Aussie talent to international listeners, but of course I'd love it if you tuned in! Proton can be played through RealAudio or Windows Media Player, and has catered for both modem and broadband users.

And yes - Mark Dynamix will be featured in the coming months, along with other headliners like Ben Korbel and Trent Anthony.

Hope you can tune in! I'm pretty excited about it all.

Grant

Hope you guys will be tuning in like me - Robbie "tighter-then-a-nuns-c&*t" Lowe is an AMAZING dj!!!

I think this year has been the year AU is starting to making international waves for djing and production.

It seems to me that everyone who can get something international happening (thourgh radio shows) for different styles is pulling their finger out this year and trying to get AU the respect it deserves.

Production wise; this are slowly raming up, with AU being considered one of the best places in the world for progressive production. I can see this growing for all styles of music.

Big ups to Grant. He's been in the scene and knows his for so long. I have no doubts that his show will grow a following as long as the timing is good for the rest of the world.
