theres a guy in my hometown (mansfield) that has the world record for being buried alive, his mother did it in the 70's (or sumthing) and he set out to beat it, he was buried underground for a month or sumthing stupid like that, or 2 months, with just a pipe leading from the surface down about 10 feet underground. i think his names geoff smith or sumthing. they call him the human mole :nervous: lol.
also, i made the signage for the event, and it was shown on TV countless times!!! my work is a celebrity!!!!! :crazy: |

As for living in a box for 44 days....piss easy!!
he's taking in clothes, nappies and lip balm! Obviously the water has nutrients in it, and after about 2 weeks without food your body starts to malfunction, but its ok for blaine cause all he is worried about is his lips being chapped! I mean come on, its obvious that in his stores he has hidden food, and is using the lip balm as a way of palming food and eating it when he "applys" the balm! Sheesh! Easy!

THe powers of meditation are unlimited.
Daivd blane is the first fag to market the power of mediation to the WEST but that doesnt change tha fact that people in the east preform things like chilling for weeks with out food as a form of meditation. Becasue america is soo used to eating 24/7 and chilling in SUVs and there livingrooms its a "big deal" to see someone do the opposite but its really nothing crazy. |

The card is held on the window (with magic wax i think it is called) before the trick is even started with a person. He then gets a passer by and "forces" them to pick a card (which is evidently the same card in the window), and then puts it anywhere in the pack and throws it at the window, and its there. How simple? But how effective is what you should be asking!

Card thru Window
EFFECT:
Performer has a spec. pick a card, shuffled back into the deck, & the deck is then launched at a nerby window. The selected card is stuck to the other side of the glass.
PREPARATION:
If u don't already know, u need 2 of the same card (say 3, for example). The 3 is stuck to the other side of a window using SALIVA. Trust me, this is invisible & works, the less of it the better, just make sure it's secure B4 u try this trick on someone. Knowledge of any force.
METHOD:
Force the 3 on our spec. Have her/him show the card off, but don't let u see. At this point you'd usually have them shuffle the deck, then u launch the deck at a window & it's done, just like Blaine did. There is one problem. What if the spec. sees their card lying on the pavement outside the window, while their card is apparently on the other side of the glass? Sort of blows it a bit, huh. 2 overcome this do the following: don't let the spec. mix their card back in, instead take their card from them (don't look at it, u don't need 2) & do a Marlo-tilt move to control the card to 2nd place. Now the spec. believes their card is lost in the middle. Don't do any fake shuffling as they will now suspect u are controlling their card back 2 the top or something, the spec. ain't stupid. It's better to leave it at the tilt, the card is most definitely (not) in the middle, & u have no clue what it is (apparently). Then tell them u'll find it behind your back. Now all u do is BS a little, put the 2nd card in your back pocket, & bring the deck back 4 some wrong predictions. "Is this your card? How about this one? This card?" (obviously u r wrong) Then just say ' it' & throw the cards, casually, at the window. Then the only 3 around is thru' the glass. The card that could have given u away is safely tucked into your back pocket.
is it me, or does the fact of the card already being stuck to the window give the game away? |
