| Hey, I'm interested in knowing if ppl have tried to put lyrics in electronica music the way you can do it like in alternative or hard rock (something like in the feeling of Staind), I'm interested in expresing my self with lyrics in a track (need to vent off some things), but right now I have no idea how to do it, if you know of examples or ideas please help |

I don't know that song, but long vocals can definitely be done in electronica. Think of songs like born slippy where the vocals make the track. There was also a really cool techno/hard trance remake of "every me, every you".
I think the key to making it sound good is the vocal voice that is used. |

you just gotta be able to rip the vocals from a track and eq til it sounds ok
if you can do that it should be no trouble |

Hey, why don't you just record the vocals yourself??? I don't know if you've got the equipment and the lyrics for me, but I think it can work!

| Check out the band Gravity Kills. They are old but kind of like what you're describing. |

If we're just talking about putting vocals in electronic music (not trance specific) then take a look at some of the more mainstream artists, like FatBoy Slim, Cyrstal Method, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Moby, Prodigy, and Oakenfold's Bunkka album. Even artists like Chicane or Blank & Jones can pull off lyrics in songs.
My advice is to give it a shot. You don't have anything to lose. Play around with different styles and see if you can come up with anything you like. |
