For the record, I think their mix of Mindcircus is way overrated. Sure, it's a great track, but only because the vocal and hook are so good. You couldn't manage a bad remix of it if you tried. :p
Seriously though, there are several mixes I think are generally better than the G&D mix (namely, those by Dazzle and Fred Numf, not to mention the original album version or WOW's own club mix), so I don't give it as much credit as their mixes of, say, Duncan Sheik or Grayarea where they essentially built a new tune out of some existing elements. I'm a fan of the G&D sound but there's nothing exceptional about this remix. I know the big DJs didn't play the other mixes but give them a try. |
