Hey, anyone here heared Marco V's 2003 Sensation White mix ? Well, on the intro there is this orchestral intro, with those 'AAAAAH' voices from a choire, you know, like these people all singing togheter 'aaaaaaaah' but in a really powerfull way, not like trance stuff. Really the 'aaaaaaaah' like in the movies etc... I was wondering if this is done with synths or with samples ? I can't find any samples for it though, and can't afford to rent an orchestre to sing for me either =) Help is appreciated

try scorpion vsti with lots of filtering
its the filter and white noise that makes it sound better |

Haven't heard it, but if you want good powerful choirs, try Peter Siedlaczek's Classical Choirs [AKAI]

Either samples of choirs or wavetable synthesis.

Fruity Studio 4 has some nice loopable choir samples which sound pretty good...

nono don't need presets, just the name of a tool that can actually do it would be great. 90% of the fun in producing is making yer own damn sounds =)

But when you cant make it, a preset will do just fine :p

Maybe Absynth then. It tends to make lots of those eiry type sounds.
